Detroit -- The UAW International Executive Board (IEB) voted on December 5 to merge the states represented by UAW Region 5 between UAW Regions 4 and 8. This merger will be effective February 28, 2020.

(Maumee) – At a special regional leadership meeting Thursday, Rich Rankin was elected to fill out the remaining term as Regional Director of the UAWs Indiana and Ohio membership. Rankin succeeds Ken Lortz who retired on May 31.
