Bargaining Updates

Brothers and Sisters, 

We are still awaiting the company’s response to our pass that we gave to them yesterday. We did have several conversations back and forth with the company about the pass we gave them. 

We will have more detailed information for tomorrow.

Brothers & Sisters- 

Today we passed our first Economic proposal to the company. The proposal contained the things our membership have told us are important to them:

Profit Sharing 

Wage Increases 

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Local 2317,

We are nearing completion of the Non Economics portion of the Contract. We are hoping to be moving on to Economics sometime tomorrow if everything goes to plan. 

Brothers and Sisters,

Today we resumed negotiations with the company again, after the company met with the people at the Sterling plant in Illinois. (An agreement has not been reached)

Union Brothers and Sisters-

Dear Union Brothers and Sisters,

The Bargaining Committee is wrapping up a long first week of Negotiations with the Company. We’ve had multiple passes of Non-Economic issues back and forth, and we’re getting close to being finished with the Non-Economic part of the contract.
