SHARONVILLE UNIT - QUALITY PLUS CONTAINMENT (QPC) WORKERS

ELECTION NOTICE

This election is for the Quality Plus Containment (QPC) hourly workers, ONLY.
On Tuesday, February 16, 2021 there will be an ELECTION to elect the following positions:

Union Chairperson - one (1) to be elected
Union Committeeperson - two (2) to be elected

Voting Time: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Voting Location: UAW Local 863 Union Hall – 10708 Reading Rd. – Cincinnati, Ohio

All QPC hourly workers who are Members of UAW in good standing are hereby nominated as a Candidate.

All QPC hourly workers who are Members of UAW in good standing are eligible to vote.

A photo identification is required to vote. All Voting must be in-person at UAW Local 863 Union Hall.

Candidate Acceptance Forms are available at Local 863 Union Hall. Candidate Acceptance Forms must be submitted in person to the Local 863 Recording Secretary at UAW Local 863 Union Hall, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021. A photo identification is required to submit a Candidate Acceptance Form.

Absentee Ballots are available only for Members who will be out of town on assigned Union Business or assigned Company Business on February 16, 2021. A request for an Absentee Ballot must be made in writing before Election Day, February 16, 2021, and addressed to the UAW Local 863 Election Committee, 10708 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Absentee Ballots must be returned to UAW Local 863 Election Committee, 10708 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241, prior to the start of the election on February 16, 2021.

The Election Committee of UAW Local 863 will conduct the election.
