Call Letters

President Gamble has announced the cancellation of all the National Education Department conferences which are scheduled to be held at the UAW Education Center this year.

The theme for the 2020 conference is: “Healing Minds and Bodies.” The conference will focus on establishing the building blocks of a successful EAP program in the worksite. The workshops will be extremely beneficial to locations new to EAP, or those in need of reviewing the basics.

RE: 2020 UAW Chaplaincy Conference – Reschedule

This conference is for members of local union education committees. Delegates will learn how to run their committees and gain skills to present workshops at their locals. This year we are providing two tracks: one for new delegates to the conference, and a second for returning delegates.

This institute is for members 18-35 years old who want to grow their involvement in their locals.  Delegates will take part in workshops on UAW structure, how to participate in union meetings, understanding bargaining, strikes, and the grievance procedure.
