To: All Region 2-B Retired Worker Chapter Chairpersons:
We are happy to announce it’s time once again for our annual Black Lake Region 2-B UAW Leadership weeks at the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center in Onaway, Michigan.
This call letter is being mailed to the Retired Worker Chapter Chairperson only. It is the responsibility of each Chairperson to notify the remaining members of their respective Executive Boards. If you have received this letter and are no longer the Chair, please notify the Region 2-B office immediately so the records can be updated accordingly.
Again, this year the rules for retiree participation is to only allow substitutions for the top four officers for the July 15 – 20, 2018 session only. However, this year the July session Registration Form must be signed by their local union retired workers chapter chairperson approving the substitute w/spouse.
The dates and modifications are as follows:
July 15 – 20, 2018 (substitutions permitted- limited to four delegates w/spouses only)
September 16 – 21, 2018 (NO substitutions permitted – top four officers w/spouses only)
The September session will be designated the official Retired Workers Leadership meeting week.
Please note: Each chapter is limited to four spots only and is based on room availability at Black Lake. The Education Center can only accommodate a limited number of delegates. Therefore, delegates will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
