Greetings:
For the last 19 years, The Director's Charitable Fund, Inc. (UAW Region 2-B) has hosted a golf outing that has raised several hundred thousand dollars for selected worthwhile charities. This year, we are again honoring Retired Assistant Director Gary Sorrell, who passed away in 2017. Gary organized the outing since its inception and devoted 17 years to making this event a huge success. We hope you will join us for this memorial golf tournament in Gary’s memory.
The 2018 outing will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Legends of Indiana Golf Course, 2555 North Hurricane Road, Franklin, Indiana. Please include this event in your plans for 2018.
As in the past, there are many ways to get involved. Platinum Sponsorships are available for $5,000.00. Each Platinum Sponsorship includes two foursomes including all related costs, recognition on programs and golf towels, signage at the golf outing, and recognition across UAW Region 2-B. Since the Director’s Charitable Fund is a 501(c)(3), sponsorships are tax deductible.
Sponsorships are available as follows:
- Platinum Sponsor $5,000
- Foursome $700
- Hole Sponsor $500
- Cart Sponsor $250
Please fill out the enclosed form as soon as possible and return it to the address listed. We are unable to receive funds or contributions from any company, vendor, joint funds or any other outside source. Please support this venture with sponsorships from your Local Union, Retiree Chapter, and CAP Council so we can keep the scholarship program healthy.
