Our Friends and Allies

“From its inception, LCLAA’s vision has been to create an environment of social, economic and political empowerment for Latino working families. Its proud history is part of a heritage of Latino workers. LCLAA’s leadership and members have always stood and will continue to stand at the forefront of the labor movement in protecting their families, their communities, and their unions. Through our ongoing commitment to organizing around the workplace, the union contract, and the ballot box, we will make our communities strong and the nation stronger.

The Alliance for Retired Americans believes that all older and retired persons have a responsibility to strive to create a society that incorporates these goals and rights and that retirement provides them with opportunities to pursue new and expanded activities with their unions, civic organizations and their communities.

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans.
