When purchasing a vehicle be sure to check the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and that it begins with  "1" or "4" or "5" identifying as a U.S. made vehicle. A "2" identifies a Canadian made vehicle and a "3" identifies as a vehicle made in Mexico.
