UAW Basic Training

UAW Region 2B is partnering with UAW Region 4 for a UAW Basic Training conference to be held at the UAW Region 4 Pat Greathouse Education Center (PGC) located at 900 E. Center St., Ottawa, Illinois 61350. At this training, we will explore possibilities to get more boots on the ground in your worksites to build stronger soldiers for the battles ahead!

This training is appropriate for delegates at every level; from new members to experienced activists to local union leaders and is designed to provide relevant training to those interested in learning how our union functions, as well as their role within it. We will provide insight on resources available through the UAW’s national departments, discuss methods for empowering members to become active problem solvers, and train delegates on our union’s function, history, and values.
