Remembering our Veterans

In President Kennedy's January 20, 1961 Inaugural Address, he said, "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty." Our Veterans have paid that price, bore that burden, and met that hardship.

It was in that same Inaugural address that President Kennedy spoke the familiar words, "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." Our Veterans have answered that call time and time again.

Within the heart of our Country lies the foundation of Freedom, Justice, and Liberty FOR ALL. Our brave veterans have fought to gain, preserve, and protect those ideals. Our Country is the land of the FREE, because we are the home of the BRAVE.

Please join me in remembering our Veterans and expressing our thanks and gratitude. God bless our Veterans on Veteran's Day and every day!
